О фильме: В полицейском участке приморского портового города ходят слухи, что капитана Макара Климова сослали к ним из Москвы из-за романа с женой большого начальника с Петровки. Правда это или нет — никто не знает. На юге Макару нравится: свежий воздух, красивые женщины, нет столичной суеты. А дом, в который его поселили, находится прямо на берегу моря. Первое впечатление от тихой провинциальной жизни у Климова быстро проходит: контрабанда, наркотики, торговля людьми — целый криминальный набор, бороться с которым в этом городке приходится практически в одиночку. Но все же у Макара есть верный друг, который помогает ему во всем, — пес по кличке БиМ! Во время задержаний он догонит любого, кто решит убежать, не пройдет мимо контейнера с наркотиками и на мелкие проступки самого Макара реагирует осуждающе, не давая напарнику «расслабиться».
